Castrol Iloform TDN 81 is a viscous, highly chlorinated, heavy duty forming oil for cold pilgering applications. This product provides the lubrication necessary for significant degrees of metal reduction in one pass, while still maintaining the high standards required for internal and external finishes, and wall thickness close to limits.

Iloform TDN 81 meets the demands that have been placed on the production of tubes of greater diameter to metals of low ductility such as high nickel chromium and stainless steels. In addition to its use as a cold pilgering lubricant, Iloform TDN 81 can be used in other metal forming operations and is useful as an extreme pressure additive for neat cutting oils.
